解説
On the left there is a fishing boat and a 'hoeker' - a Dutch fishing vessel. On the right is a 'kaag' - a Dutch vessel with a straight raking stem and clinker-built. Other vessels can be seen beyond.This work was probably painted by Willem van de Velde for the family , around 1660. At least eight versions of the composition are known.
